Solar System by the Numbers written by Steve Jenkins, reviewed by Debra Gantz

Summary:  Finding books with this many sorts of infographics is hard. This book has it all. We learn about our solar system, including planets, stars, and moons with comparisons like length of a day, distance, size, gravity, wind speeds, explorations, animals in space and so very much more. There is some fact here for every student and some infographic that every teacher in my schools has inquired about in my 30 years of teaching.

Straight Talk for Librarians:  Teachers need to teach graphs, charts, and comparisons throughout elementary school, but rarely are the comparisons this plain for our level of students. This is a series by Steve Jenkins and it is top notch! (Dinosaurs, Insects, Solar System, One Day, and Earth)
