Summary: Besties Beth and Chanda are determined to make bank plotting to dog sit for Ms. Langford's four legged princeling of a pooch. But what happens when their side hustle needs a side hustle? Due to poor choices and a misguided pursuance of popularity at all cost, their attempts to make some fast cash threatens to derail their friendship and sidetrack their entrepreneurial pursuits. 

Straight Talk for Librarians: This one is bound to be popular among fans of realistic graphic novel fiction - especially those fans of the Click series. Chanda and Beth are typical, well-meaning 6th graders who are tempted to make a quick buck by biting off more than they can chew. Some poor choices involving social media and delusions of financial grandeur and popularity lead to unforeseen hilarity and some important life lessons. Students will be able to relate to the Besties, who are navigating their Tween years with gusto and heart.
