The Visitor: A Graphic Novel (Animorphs #2), written by K.A. Applegate & Michael Grant, reviewed by Terry Wahrman

Summary:  Five students, who can morph into animals, are fighting to keep earth from being invaded by aliens.  The alien leader, Visor 3, is placing parasitic aliens in the brains of humans as a form of control.  A clue leads them to their assistant principal’s house where they learn of his deception to allow his body as a host to a top official alien in exchange for keeping his daughter alive. Rachel, one of the animorphs, is taken prisoner while still transformed into a house cat while investigating.

Straight Talk for Librarians:  This story will appeal to all those students looking for science fiction.  Fighting aliens and morphing into beloved animals will capture all youthful audiences.  The fast story will keep the reader engaged. The well done pictures are like watching a movie come to life.  This book will be flying off the shelf. Highly recommended.
