Hiding written by Henry Turner, reviewed by Carrie Conner

Summary:
Danny claims he has been hiding all his life. When his girlfriend Laura breaks up with him, he goes for a walk and "accidentally" breaks into her basement. Finding himself stuck in her home by a security alarm, Danny begins an exploration of her luxurious home to learn more about why their relationship ended. Told through his (unreliable) narration, he touches on the issues of their differing socioeconomic status as well as his discoveries of how little he knows about Laura's life. While he explores the house, his journey focuses inward, revealing new truths about himself, Laura, and their relationship. The twist ending, while not unexpected, provides a satisfying conclusion.

Straight Talk for Librarians: While the use of a single teenage voice can make the narration feel authentic, the simplistic style and lack of other perspectives may be a turn off for some readers. This book touches on serious issues of stalking, suicide, and death. Strong language and some sexual references.
